Our glazed bread pan is handmade by Margi Beyers who has been making clay baking pans for over 20 years. The bread pan is made of a special stoneware clay that allows the pan to be used in a hot oven or microwave. The even heat distribution is similar to baking in a brick oven. Our 8" x 4" x 3" glazed bread pan is perfect for banana nut bread, date nut bread, coffee cake. The pan is also great for meatloafs. The non-porous glaze has an overall grey-white color with a "swirl" pattern in dark green. Note that the "swirl" is a distinctive decorative feature of Margi Beyer's glazed bread pans. Each pan is unique in appearance, color and texture. The pan makes a 1 lb to 1-1/2 lb loaf. You'll love baking in it!
