We are firm believers that you should measure the temperature of your oven-cooked meats for safety reasons and to get the "degree-of-doneness" you desire. Our digital programmed meat thermometer beautifully serves this purpose
To use, simply 1) pre-heat your oven to the desired temperature; 2) insert the sensor into your meat; 3) plug the sensor into the thermo unit, 4) select the type of meat you are cooking (beef, pork, chicken, turkey, veal or lamb) and 5) select your desired doneness level (rare, medium rare, medium or well done). That's all there is to it! An alarm will sound when the actual temperature reaches the desired doneness level so that you know exactly when your meat is perfectly cooked to your taste. In addition to the preprogramed modes above, you can program one customized setting to suit your personal taste. The unit also has a very useful 99 minute count-up or count-down timer.
The unit is designed to sit outside of your oven while you cook. It has an easel back stand for countertop use and a magnetized backing for adhering the unit to the outside of the oven door.
