Our Chef's Thermometer has a soft rubber case in elegant charcoal black and a stainless steel probe. This is not a mini-size thermometer.Overall it measures 11" and has a probe length of 5". The thermometer is designed to be comfortable to the grip and is substantially sized so that the probe can be easily inserted into meats and fish. Its large digital display is easy to read from any angle. The thermometer measures in degrees Centigrade or degrees Fahrenheit. It has a maximum-minimum feature and a "clear" button wherein the minimum or maximum value can be individually cleared. To conserve battery life the Chef's Thermometer has an on/off switch. The thermometer runs on a single AAA battery (not included).
