Tibetan temple horns are traditionally used in ritual practice. We use our horn for the simple pleasure of playing it. Our temple horns are hand made of copper and white metal in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. They are of a telescoping design. When extended for play, the horn measures approximately three feet in length; unextended, (great for travel and storage) the horn measures approximately 16". You play the horn like a one note trumpet. With a little practice you will be able to sustain a deeply resonant and haunting sound. Display the richly decorated temple horn in your living room and play it whenever the mood strikes. |
