We designed our Cook's Companion Adjustable Cookbook Holder™ to not only keep your cookbook open, clean and at the right viewing angle for you, but also to look good on your counter. It's also great for displaying your favorite book on your coffee table. Our holder is made by us of prime laminated baltic birch, hand finished in three coats of clear Varathane®. The holder is 12" wide by 10" high with a shelf for your book. The shelf has several slots which are used in conjunction with a clear acrylic sheet to accommodate books of various thicknesses. Simply lay your book on the shelf and slide the acrylic sheet into the slot closest to the front of the book. The clear sheet not only keeps your pages flat, but also protects your book from splashes. Our holder is also adjustable for reading angle so you can position it just right for easy reading. When you want to store your holder, simply slide out the support member (shown below) and fold - thus minimizing storage space requirements.
